It’s been a minute since I posted. Been busy with new corsets for a show in February. Little known fact. A lot of sewists pull loose threads to break them. After a while, they cut into your fingers. This hurts. A lot. #karendeguirecreations #sewing #corsets #handmade #ouch

One more session and my sleeve will be done! Almost 2 years in the making. I just have the elbow swirl to finish. (Shudder). I added a small tribute to my dearly departed friend in it, who always loved to talk about Sandman and the Endless with me. Turns out a shoulder CAN freeze twice. At the doctor looking at my left hand for carpal tunnel surgery in a few weeks but mentioned my shoulder pain and doc said I’m of an age/demographic where it can freeze up again. 😔so steroid injection for the shoulder and surgery for the wrist. Right in the middle of my busiest season. Yay! #karendeguirecreations #carpaltunnel #frozenshoulder #artlife #menopause #sewing #consequences #lifechoices
